I mean she could see the future, but no one would believe her.. so why didn't she make up a lie, or be vauge enough about it. Instead of saying that a war is going to break out in Troy, she could have hired a servant, dressed her up as a reputable psychic, and paid her to say the prophesies. That way, people would believe the assistant, if not the psychic herself...
